Coating: Zerust Axxacoat 90 has been given a new look. A new formulation makes this extremely durable coating even better. What is new compared to the previous version is that Axxacoat 90B HFS is black in color, making it easy to see where it has been applied; it is sprayable straight from the bucket and cures in UV light. For indoor use, AxxaCoat 90B HFS dries to a slightly tacky, matte black film. When used outdoors and exposed to sunlight, the coating cures into a hard, dry, matte black film. Once fully cured, it can withstand temperatures up to 150 degrees! Even when cured, it is easily removed with mineral spirits or kerosene. Read more about Axxacoat 90B HFS.
Zerust Activ-Dri PWA: A new and patented type of corrosion protection from Zerust. These bags are a combination of desiccant and VCI! This is a product you should use for, for example, sensitive electronic parts or in particularly aggressive, corrosive environments. Previously, we have written about corrosion protection in tunnels under construction, where we are talking about constant humidity levels up to 100% RH. ZIF-tape: Zerust Inhibitor Fusion Tape is an award-winning tape with an inhibitor. The tape has no adhesive and only sticks to itself – just like silicone self-fusing tape. What makes this unique is that it contains a contact inhibitor, which means everything it is taped onto will be corrosion-protected! It can withstand up to 200 degrees and was originally developed for use under pipe insulation – a place where a lot of condensation often forms due to fluctuating temperatures. By storing your bike or motorcycle in a cover with VCI, all metal parts are protected – and the protection lasts for up to 5 years!
