PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONZIF Tape is a corrosion-inhibiting tape based on silicone elastomers with proprietary Zerust chemistry integrated into the matrix. It combines Zerust's proven corrosion-inhibiting properties with the specific characteristics of a self-fusing film for easy, cold application. It is stable under long-term exposure to UV/sunlight and has a translucent appearance. It is non-tacky to the touch but fuses within approximately 30 seconds to form a long-lasting bond. It is elastic by nature and can be stretched to provide a tighter fit to the surfaces to which it is applied. This snug fit, combined with the application tension, minimizes gaps/voids where moisture can penetrate.
